Wikiproject Prisons[edit]

If anyone is interested, I have proposed a new Wikiproject concerning prisons here.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 00:13, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Framingham MCI[edit]

My mother Ann Elisebeth Barber was imprisoned there which was @ the time known as Framingham Women's State Penitentiary. I have five siblings my mother was charged w/Child Abuse/Neglect or however this was classified during the years of 1961 - 1963. She was not guilty yet an entire family is lost to me! Five siblings: Richard Lee Snyder, Margsret Ann Snyder, Lawrence Haskel, David Haskell, Rose Marie Haskell. I need her records or some help in locating her residence or grave, any information I could in all probability get will help me in finding my family. I am 62 years old now and am without a record of my own birth! I have no birth certificate , no heritage, I do not even know my nationality but was raised as an American Indian and once spoke the language , I was placed in a Catholic Foster home and was unlearned my own family , my ancestors, our ways ... Please help me and through Ancestry.com I learned I am 3rd to 4th cousins to the Bissonnette name. My children have never known their grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and this is a terrible thing which has ripped us all apart, the not knowing and feeling that we have no place historically, no heritage, no roots! Your facility has information that I need to console myself, my children and theirs and so on for the yet unborn generations of a strong people's we feel in our blood. I do not care if I am Polish or Rusdian, African or Indian, a white or Asian! But everyone in this earth deserves to know who and what they hail from. What happened to me, my brothers and sisters should not have turned out this way and it should not end this way. Am I to leave this world an empty , hollow, blowing in the holy wind leaf? Please, I need help, help me. I love my mother and father, my brothers and sisters they are my world as my children and grandchildren are my world and if I live to see my great grandchildren I want to be able to tell them what they are made of aside from love. Any help ~ direction ~ guidance is appreciated. My fathers name is Kenneth Lee Snyder, he was not imprisoned. It is fair to inform you that I am submitting a manuscript this year entitled: TINY GODS. The title is relative not only to your prison but all of the Departments who took part in shredding the lives of my family, in this aspect you were all playing the role of tiny gods in my life. This State prison, Massachusetts State Welfare Department , State run Catholic Facilities ( Our Lady of Lourdes no less than a prison for juveniles and my crime was running away from them to find my family!) all acted as gods in my life! Give me back what you unjustly took from me through "hear say" . The day my mother was imprisoned in your facility I went to a neighbor to borrow some ketchup and my mother had gone to the grocery, myself and my older brother Richard were babysitting our four siblings. So what was my mothers crime ? She could not afford a sitter! As far as in concerned the State of Massachusetts owes me BIG TIME for RAPING ME ~ MY CHILDREN ~ THEIR CHILDREN ~ AND ALL OF THE UNBORNS YET TO ARRIVE ~ MY FAMILY. Do you see how many people are broken inside because of all of your mistakes? I need the records please. Diane L. M.
