English language variation

When this article was created, it did not use any terms that were demonstrably American or English in terms of spelling. Nor did the article post any advice about which version of English the article should use. Thus, the article has been left up in the air of the preferred version of English.

Over the years, a mix of spellings has appeared as different editors add their bits and pieces to it. This inconsistency is exacerbated when editors go into the article and change a few spellings here and there, but fail to address all of the spellings in the article, thereby adding to an inappropriate level of inconsistency.

It is currently an inconsistent mix of both spellings. Going back into the article's history, it soon becomes clear that one of the very earliest versions used the term "behavioural" which is of course, British English spelling. I therefore, suggest that British English be adopted as standard for this article (because it was the first used) and intend to change the spelling of the prose so that it is consistent throughout. I also intend to add a template for British spelling to the top of the page. BronHiggs (talk) 05:54, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
