Marina Ripa di Meana NOT Marina Ripa Di Meana[edit]

Marina Ripa di Meana NOT Marina Ripa Di Meana. Mgvongoeden (talk) 23:55, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Family Name[edit]

I see Marina Ripa di Meana is referred to for short as Di Meana throught the entry. In fact Ripa is not a middle name in Italian, rather it is part of the surname. I have checked the Italian Wikipedia, and when they address her by family name they call her la Ripa di Meana, so Ripa di Meana is the correct form of her surname. In Italy noble families (casate) or otherwhise important people sometimes have a double surname to distinguish themselves from the lower classes. 79.50.140.116 (talk) 02:34, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing that out, I'll correct it now. MurielMary (talk) 03:20, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
