The inclusion of "rookie mistakes" as a detail of his Indy500 race instead of the fact that he finished second and came in second in the closest finish ever seems to be one of personal opinion. The inclusion of his finishing space holds much more importance and should obviously not be deleted.

That was the Homestead race where you were adding the info, not the Indy race. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 20:49, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

The information about his 2006 Indianapolis 500 finish is given twice, and is redundant. The information should be given at either the start or end of the biographical, but I'll leave it to people here to determine which before tomorrow comes up. --Chr.K. 03:56, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

2012 Indy 500

Maybe somebody can add to the article a paragraph on Marco's performance in the 2012 Indy. Specifically, maybe somebody can also add an explanation why the track had slippery conditions along the white line on the left side of the track. This was Marco's downfall late in the race. His wheels touched that white-line area, and his car lost traction. He started to slide. His preventative measure to control his crash into the wall was to hit the brakes. During the race, I observed on television, the on-board camera in Marco's car showed the front wheels were not spinning, which is evidence that he hit the brakes early in the slide. Im not really understanding, why on a dry sunny day, the track had some slippery conditions along the white line. Marc S., Dania Fl74.166.156.250 (talk) 17:47, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
