New version[edit]

Another editor has created a new version of this article here. I don't think that they were aware of the exact process, that's why I'm pointing out the new version. Dismas|(talk) 02:31, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I wouldn't have found that. I've asked a different administrator to review it; maybe the situation will soon resolve. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:17, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We have covered this before: Everything must be written entirely from scratch. The text which you keep reintroducing remains a derivative work from the sources and is unusable. It will continue to be removed until and unless none of it copies or closely paraphrases any copyrighted source.
In case you have forgotten the spiel: While facts are not copyrightable, creative elements of presentation - including both structure and language - are. The less creative the expression, the looser copyright applies, but even so close paraphrasing becomes a great concern when there are long passages that include fragments of the original and the structure of the original is retained. The essay Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing contains some suggestions for rewriting that may help avoid these issues. The article Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2009-04-13/Dispatches, while about plagiarism rather than copyright concerns, also contains some suggestions for reusing material from sources that may be helpful, beginning under "Avoiding plagiarism".
