Common Name[edit]

Although in general I am questioning the Notability of this person, there are apparently at least two other Mamadou Diops. The backlinks to this page are from the 1980 Sengalese Olympic Basketball Team and a mayor. If we keep this article, we should really disambig as well. CSZero (talk) 15:25, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Certainly the politician is notable for being a long serving mayor of a major city, Dakar.
