This page should not be speedily deleted because it is an on-going Internet meme which is still burgeoning. These are early days. kencf0618 (talk) 21:15, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree, this trend is absolutely huge in Japan and pretty big in many western countries already. Even if it stopped now, it would still been event worthy of note historically, and in any event it seems likely that this will run and run anyway. I`m not against the principle cited above, but in this case I don`t think it`s reasonable to delete it.--Hontogaichiban (talk) 02:39, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Strange that Makankosappo is the term used, considering the stance and hands are completely different. Nearly all of these are Kamehameha / Hadouken stances. 76.244.150.121 (talk) 22:35, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In the west, not in Japan.--Hontogaichiban (talk) 02:39, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I come with this proposal to merge this article into Piccolo (Dragon Ball). We can add a "Popular culture" section in Piccolo's article with most of the information (if not, all) of this article. In the end, it is Piccolo's technique. Thoughts? --LoЯd ۞pεth 00:02, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Merge It does not have much independent notability outside of Dragon Ball. Similar terms such as Over 9000! have been merged to the character articles. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:55, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
