Assembled in the US[edit]

I know MainGear computers used to be made/assembled in the US, but to my understanding they've been moving away from that and I'm not sure if they still are. I can't find any marketing material to suggest this is still the case, and in fact I've instead found sources stating the opposite, that they were sued by the FTC for false advertising: https://truthinadvertising.org/articles/maingear/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.33.2.225 (talk) 17:34, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral POV[edit]

I got the feeling toward the bottom that MAINGEAR sent lackeys to pimp their product specifically against an established competitor, Falcon Northwest, and found some links dead, and others were from the MAINGEAR site. OK, maybe it's not lackeys, but fans at least. I'm unconvinced that a Neutral POV is being reflected in the article content. Thoughts? Article has been updated to link to a working news item quoting Falcon Northwest's Kelt Reeves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.109.199.82 (talkcontribs) 03:48, 7 April 2011

Indeed, the article reads like an advertisement or press release of some sort. I've made some tweaks to help soften it up, but, as always, more work could be done to balance the article out. Airplaneman 21:02, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
