It desperately needs an electrical engineer or physicist to add a section detailing those circuits, how they work, and comparing them to capacitively coupled circuits. The digital signals are transmitted across the isolation barrier using iCoupler technology. Chip-scale transformer windings couple the digital signals magnetically from one side of the barrier to the other. Digital inputs are encoded into waveforms that are capable of exciting the primary transformer of the winding. This article is about mechanical magnetic couplings, that is to say, coupling of moving parts. It looks like what you are referring to should be in a separate article.
