The recent additions to the article have taken a neutrally written encyclopedia article and turned it into a travel brochure. The article now reads as a promotional advertisement for the ship, and needs to be completely redone or simply reverted back to it's prior state. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 23:00, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not too happy with my writeup, either. It does sound a bit much like a travel guide with a list of features. I'll do some more editing to try to trim it back a bit. -- Autopilot (talk) 23:05, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed most of the verbage and left just a sampling of images and reference supported details about unique features. -- Autopilot (talk) 01:28, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Passage of time...[edit]

I think this statement "she is the largest Holland America ship to date" should be changed to "she was the largest Holland America ship to date" or removed. Nieuw Amsterdam is larger. The statement "along with her new sister MS Nieuw Amsterdam" made me think the two ships are the same size. Michael A. Goodfellow (talk) 14:33, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
