Cleanup Continues[edit]

Much of this article was either jargon-heavy and reading like an advert or overtly disparaging. I tried to cultivate a NPOV through my edits. The refs appear to be valid but they (and the article in general) could use another set of eyes to confirm factual accuracy before we remove the accuracy tag. Begin of clean up[edit]

I did a lot of chopping of self sourced promotional claims, but there is a lot of work to go. Active Banana (bananaphone 15:29, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Industry perspective[edit]

I work in the insurance industry. While not exactly well-known, a standard release is usually included on all insurance applications. "I authorize the insurance company to share my medical history with the MIB" or something similar. 129.33.19.254 (talk) 20:02, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

More information about how the MIB operates in Canada is required[edit]

This article needs more information regarding how MIB operates in Canada, and how (or if) Canadian consumers have open and free access to any report, dossier or information the MIB has on them, and the sources of that information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.93.25.232 (talk) 12:06, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

MIB letter in article[edit]

I posted the image File:Medical_Information_Bureau_2017_No-Record_Letter_With_Redactions.png in the article, which is a letter showing that no MIB record was found for the requester and explaining when a MIB record would or would not exist for a consumer. Can someone please help to format the image so that it appears at a reasonable resolution in the article? I can only seem to get either a thumbnail or a huge-zoomed representation of the image. Until then, I will leave it with the "gallery" tag which requires users to open the image separately if they want to read the letter. Thanks. --Wykypydya (talk) 16:26, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
