So.. under what law do you have to reveal the contents of disks you're carrying with you?

Bounty Hunter[edit]

Ah, that's so ridiculous, the dogs have a bounty on their heads, and can detect DVDs by smell. Wait, I thought all DVDs were made of plastic... Nescio sed Scio —Preceding comment was added at 02:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The dogs can't really smell the disks, but are trained to smell the chemicals used in the production and burning of them. I don't have a source for this, however. --70.66.66.133 (talk) 18:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How far can irony go ?[edit]

how acceptable is irony on Wikipedia ? I guess that this one:

Glickman lavished praise on the canines, saying that the dogs "are some of the greatest employees we have here at the MPAA"

is still acceptable, since it's based on documented facts... now the quotes still logically means that most employees at the MPAA aren't as good as dogs... LOL — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farialima (talkcontribs) 10:09, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lucky and Flo still alive?[edit]

It occurs to me that these 2 dogs might be reaching the end of their natural life span soon, so does anyone know if they're still alive, and if they are, are they still active or have they "retired"? I couldn't find a source for an update myself. Robman94 (talk) 16:39, 13 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't find any sources for updates either, but they'd be coming up for 20 years old at this point. I think this article can safely go into past tense without explicitly saying that they've died. Belbury (talk) 15:40, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
