Yes, but who recorded it FIRST?[edit]

In the PBS special this week on Loretta Lyn, she states that her husband Doolittle "found" this song and brought it to her and Conway. In what form did he "find" it? On tape? As a demo? On sheet music (not likely)? Somebody else must have sung it and possibly recorded it first. Starhistory22 (talk) 07:30, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
