Images[edit]

I found some good longma images using Google Book Search but don't know how to import them into Commons.

Could somebody help? Thanks. Keahapana (talk) 21:03, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's easy! The books' full text is gone from books.google.com, but can be still found at http://www.archive.org/ . You can do title search there. Some books are in several versions - some versions with illustrations scanned, and some without, so you have to find the right one. Once that is done, just view the book online, where each page is presented as a single JPG file. You can then save the desired page in your web browser, and crop the image as required. I have done so to some of the images, and put them into commons:Category:Dragon horse. Vmenkov (talk) 02:53, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Vmenkov. Thanks also for adding the Shanhaijing image into Kui (Chinese mythology). Best wishes, Keahapana (talk) 21:58, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unexplained tags[edit]

Hi Da Vynci. Would you please clarify your 23 November tags? Where specifically do you see problems with inline citations (similar with Ruyi?), quality standards, and peacock terms? Thanks. Keahapana (talk) 02:02, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed two of the tags, as they were absolutely unsubstantiated. Vmenkov (talk) 02:15, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Black Monkeys[edit]

They can talk like humans. They have the ability to jump higher than the average human. They look very identical to humans but very black. Scientists say that they could come from brownie's in some way. Black Monkeys do love Violence often beefing with other fellow Blacks, for the reason is to become better 'Gangster's'. They are able to speak English but most of them like cursing instead, they like using guns and various weapons. this is a new type of animal so we will have to research more on these Black Monkeys, so for now their name will be Black Monkeys as we have called them. 2603:6080:8A02:B00:6CCC:A3B2:99FA:62BE (talk) 22:58, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
