Untitled[edit]

As per historians Lokanarkavu temple is came in 400AD. The legand behind the temple is Marthanda varma pushed off Ettuvettil pillas from Thiruvithamkur and their family migrated from south kerala to north. They were very rich, who does diamond sales. These entire team was guided by one lady. On the way to north they constructed temples, where ever they settled for some days. On the way they reached near Quilandy near to calicut. where they constructed the temple called PISHARIKAVU Bhagavathi, the sister of Lokanarkavu Bhagavathi. This place for the memory of their Thiruvithamkur Quilon(In malayalam Kollam) they named as Kollam. From there the whole Nair team again moved and reached a place near to Vatakara. The lady who guided the whole team disappeared at that moment. So that team thought of settling in that place which consist of some hills(MALA) river(ARU). This place so called as LOKAMALAYARKAVU(LOKAR+MALA+ARU). In this place they purchased some hectors of place from the local landlord. Also thought of consturcting a temple for their belowed Bhagavati whom guided them. For finding the location for temple the senior most Nair Karanavar sent an arrow from a near by hill called KODAKATTU MALA. This arrow strucked on a tree. And they constructed the sanctrum arround this tree, which cut to half. And this half tree which is still greenish called MANITHOON is the Sanctrum of this temple.

These Nairs who came of business(Vyaparam) settles differntly in that location without minkling with the locals. And hence they came to know as Vyaparinayars. For day to day process of the temple the entire power on this temple is distributed to 4 Tharavadus.

this is sheer nonsense argument as the time of banishment of ettuveettill pillais is some 300years after the establishment of these temples!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 59.164.38.94 (talk)

Both theories look absurd. In the case of ettuvettil only one nair family migrated with some from their army/and their families. Others in their family were not nairs, but some ezhavas and arayans of kollam.I am not sure if all got nair pattam after migration. It happened 250-300 years back.

As per many historians, the the arya used refer people from noth. doesnt essentially mean they are aryans by race. Nagarikkar might be emigrated to this place hence they go the tag arya. in kerala vysyar (called vaichar) were known as nagarikkar.

Every wanted to share glory Aryans, may be because Brahmins claims the same. But, as per historians, brahmins of kerala have mixed blood including brahmins of North(karnataka/konkan belt), Arayans(Mukkuvars) and buddhist decedents.
