Little Missenden population figure[edit]

The Little Missenden population figure is misleading as it applies to the whole parish (including Little Kingshill, Hyde Heath and Holmer Green) and not LM village alone. Unfortunately, an alternative figure for LM Ward also includes much more than just LM village. I suspect LM village alone has a population only circa 500 people but I don't have an 'official' figure to hand. --Proteus4 (talk) 18:11, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The population for the whole parish including Holmer Green (as I now have provided) is over 6,000. Holmer Green in particular is over 4,000 of that. So it can't be precisely what you say. But it remains unclear quite what the 2,234 figure is, especially now that the source of it is no longer accessible. Having had a look at how Census Data is presented, I realise that the population given is most likely for the council ward of Little Missenden, which includes Hyde Heath and Little Kingshill.
