Gold skyscraper on Independence Boulevard[edit]

There is an omission in this list. There is a tall office building on Independence Boulevard, known for its gold colored wiindows. It was there in the 1970s - my possibly wrong memory is that it was owned by Prudential. From the picture in Google Earth, it looks to be 24 stories tall. The conversion of Independence to a freeway has cut it off and the place appears to be completely vacant. The fact it is not in uptown would explain why it may have been overlooked. Orphaned references in List of tallest buildings in North Carolina[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of tallest buildings in North Carolina's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Inactive/abandoned projects[edit]

This article is slowly becoming a list of what could have been instead of what's to come. Any project that has not had a status change within around three years from the current date should assume to be dead and thus removed. StatsFreak (talk) 06:15, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Buildings in Downtown Asheville[edit]

Hotel Kinston, NC[edit]

The Hotel Kinston in Kinston NC is 11 stories high . 220ft which is taller then some on your list but is not on the list at all. Rstanley5352 (talk) 02:57, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
