Rather than continuing to unproductively and unilaterally revert Look2See1 (talk·contribs)'s repeated violations of MOS:LEAD's call for a descriptive sentence at the start of an article (and for not cramming the article title in if it doesn't fit into a proper sentence) I've asked for additional opinions at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Lead section. Please see discussion there. —David Eppstein (talk) 14:05, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The old lead was closer to MOS, but didn't quite cover the list inclusion criteria or have any wikilinks. Look2See1's sections and wikilinks were a useful improvement that shouldn't have been reverted along with the change to the lead section. I've made a compromise revision. Look2See1, please review MOS:LIST, particularly the section on layout, before making any further changes. Ibadibam (talk) 23:19, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I disambiguated one of your links, but otherwise the new version looks good — thanks! —David Eppstein (talk) 00:06, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
