Converting to table[edit]

Hi. I want to convert this page to a table based list as I feel it looks better and is far easier to read. To show you what it will look like, I have converted the first few rows to a table. I will be doing the rest in my sandbox. I would appreciate any comments and feedback. If you don't like it, revert and let me know. Thanks. Gbawden (talk) 11:02, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A possible addition[edit]

Commodore O.C.S. "Long Robbie" Robertson, GM, RCN, Retd. was awarded the GM in 1944 whilst serving as King's Harbour Master in Halifax, NS. Commodore Robertson removed a burning ammunition vessel to a safe area after said vessel was abandoned by her crew. Source: The Very Image of a Man of, the Arctic: Commodore O.C.S. Robertson. Errors or duplication[edit]

The first four "actions" are identical. If the recipients took part in one action, it should be referred to from three of them as "See XXXX"; otherwise, it looks like an error. There should also be a red link, as such an event/ award is clearly notable.

Also, the description claims that to be the first award, but the lede names Patrick King; both can't be correct. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:50, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Page title change[edit]

As this is only a (very) partial list of the recipients, would it not be better titled as such. "List (partial) of recipients. . ."

No - such titling is common for lists across Wikipedia. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:12, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

I have just added archive links to one external link on List of recipients of the George Medal. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

There is a page for this recipient who is in the list as Aline Lily Dumont. Not sure what her correct name is Gbawden (talk) 12:16, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
