I also think a merger would be silly. The list would end up too long. —Felix the Cassowary 18:16, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Number 5[edit]

Where did number 5 go? — This, that and the other (talk) 12:34, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@This, that and the other: that's a good question. The article has been subjected to some rather dubious updates, including 2016 census data in October last year. Unfortunately, that data was not released until June this year. As it stands now, the article is poorly sourced and horribly inaccuate and requires the attention of someone interested in fixing the problems. I've posted about this recently at WP:AWNB. --AussieLegend () 14:44, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@AussieLegend: Yes, I'm having trouble verifying the figures as well. I did some digging and I think number 5 is meant to be Sunbury, but as I don't have any population figures (yet) I won't re-add it for now. — This, that and the other (talk) 23:31, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Turns out the ABS isn't going to release "Significant Urban Area" data for 2016 until later in the year, so we will have to wait. In the meantime I will see if I can find time to re-add accurate figures from 2011. — This, that and the other (talk) 23:57, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No SUA?[edit]

Do Aussies not consider the GCCSA and SUA boundaries when thinking of their places/cities? Are those only useful for statistical comparisons and not really thought of as a place of residence ? Sdinesh2222 (talk) 07:56, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
