Anees Ahmad[edit]

removed Anees Ahmad from lead of article that was added by a new editor, appears to be notable (WP:GNG and WP:NPOL point 2.) ie. The Times of India - "Nagpur MP Vilas Muttemwar, ex-minister Anees Ahmed dropped from All India Congress Committee", The Hindu - "Civil War Weakens the Nagpur Congress", Elections.in - "Nagpur Central (Maharashtra) Assembly Constituency Elections". removal of Abdul Shafee from list[edit]

hi, i have just removed "Abdul Shafee (1925-2004), Politician" that was recently added by an ip-editor as it may not be appropriate to have him on this list. (this) Shafee was a politician born in Bhandara, who represented Chandrapur (Lok Sabha constituency), his article infobox states that he was resident of Chandrapur and New Delhi, nowhere does it mention Nagupur, his 5th Lokh Sabha profile does list a number of Nagpur committees/organisations that he was a member of but does not state that he resided in Nagpur. His death notice does say that he passed away at Sadar, Nagpur, but unless he lived in Nagpur for a number of years i don't think he should be on the list. if any editors can provide sources that show he did indeed reside in Nagpur then of course he can be readded. thanks.
