objection to deletion of article[edit]

this page, it contains information about the crimes committed in singapore in the past, from the 1950s to 1990s. there were no other sources for information of any crimes other than past old newspapers of singapore. perhaps crimewatch have some that can be added, but apart from them, the newspapers are the only thing that provide us with information about the crimes from the past it is wrong to say that it is a newspaper collection and not a encyclopedia. some of these cases, probably most, their information are only available in newspapers, especially the murder cases like chong poh choon, mohamad kunjo s/o ramalan etc, and some of these cases are also not being enacted in crimewatch (eg. bobby chung hua watt, killing of ong chai poh)

hence there would only be newspapers we all had to put details inside this page. ut is an error to say that it is a newspaper collection and not an encyclopedia. all of the grounds of decision for some notable cases from 1950s to 1990s are also not available or accessible online (only those from 2000 onwards are existing online) NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 00:39, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

it can't be helped since we had such a limited category of sources we need to make reference to or cite to prove our information is genuine NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 00:41, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, there is, on NewspaperSG website. There, can find articles from the 1950s. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 05:47, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
