Crimea is Ukraine[edit]

On the map of this map, Crimean peninsula has the same colour as Russian Federation, not Ukraine. Maybe there are other versions of the map, which are geographically correct? VaerlingJr (talk) 10:13, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Redirecting table links[edit]

@Drdpw: in response to your revision that I added a bunch of duplicate links, I added zero new links in my revision, I simply retargeted them from "Barack Obama" to "List of international presidential trips made by Barack Obama". Clearly the later is far more helpful, if a reader is looking at the table and clicks in are they more likely to be expecting an article about Obama or more detail about his trips? If your concerns is duplicated links--which is the established status quo--that's a different discussion, and one that I don't necessarily disagree with. I specifically stated that in my revision. If we're going to keep the links then I think the List articles are clearly more appropriate. Bestagon ⬡ 20:05, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would prefer doing away with the repetitive overlinking in the table altogether. Neither links to names nor links to presidency travel articles seems all that helpful. Drdpw (talk) 19:13, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Doing a quick word search on the table shows that 16 presidents (the ones with more than a single trip) are linked a combined total of 494 times. That's 478 duplicate links. I agree with Drdpw's statement.

I tend to agree with both of you. Without objection I'll remove the links soon-ish. Bestagon ⬡ 19:28, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
