Article restructure and inclusion criteria[edit]

I am beginning a major restructure of this article. There are several towns and cities on this list that likely shouldn't be here--yes, they have declined in population, but the same can be said for most rural areas of North Dakota. This list should be reserved for wholly abandoned sites and for those with at least one reliable source—not a blog post—which calls it a ghost town. – T C Memoire 16:49, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
