How can anyone consider this as spam? It does not promote an entity, it provides a list of notable casinos in a specific state. Also, this article is one of a series that is transcluded into List of casinos in the United States to make maintenance of that article easier and to allow the list to be categorized at the state level in the appropriate state categories. 21:54, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Perhaps Spam may sound harsh but this list is very problematic. In my opinion using the transculsion criterisa as a loophole against creating a proper article on the subject - with history and legality sections. Nothing about tradition. The list seems all inclusive - containing both notable establishments as well as farm based Casinos which feature only slots.
I am suggesting that sources be supplied from quality sources which demonstrate that the establishments are indeed notable. Acordingly I will annotate a number of entries with the fact tag.
Regarding promotion - having a casino listed in Wikipedia is a generous boon - it puts them on the first entry in Google. Not to mention syndication by facebook , yahoo and a number of other sources. BO; talk 15:46, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
