Is Francis Tusa a prominent Old Citizen by the standards of this list? He hasn't got a Wikipedia article and he's not, for example, in Who's Who. I'm sure he's very well-respected and successful in his chosen field but you could say that for a large percentage of people who went to this highly selective school. The first entry on his name thrown up by a Google search [1] says "As a Defence commentator and writer, Francis Tusa has won a solid reputation for his insight and understanding of the complexities that surround Defence issues and military trends. He first came to prominence during his commentaries on ITN television over the Gulf War period. He now appears regularly on Sky television as a Defence commentator." Is that enough? I would say no... If a person is not listed as an article or mentioned in an article in Wikipedia, then the anwser is no. Wikipedia is not a collection of unrelated list of names. I removed the non-notable Alexander Upcraft. If an article is written on him, he can be restored. Sir Francis Tusa is mentioned in two different Wikipedia articles and this was noted on his line.

The list of names of City of London School#Notable people notable people in the City of London School article should be moved to this list. Jrcrin001 (talk) 07:00, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

I removed the unreferenced tag and replaced with citation needed tags. It is over kill since most of the list is from one cite, but I can not determine which oneswere from that cite.

In addition, The following category should be added to each member of the "Old Citizens" articles listed in the list. Category:Old Citizens (City of London School)]] And a cite about them being educated at the City of London School would help. Jrcrin001 (talk) 20:00, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clive Brooks[edit]

The entry Clive Brooks in this list leaps out at me because, of the three members of Egg, Clive is not an Old Citizen. He joined the band when it was Uriel after answering an ad in Melody Maker. ixo (talk) 19:47, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
