Chloé Bourgeois is a fictional character from the television series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir created by Thomas Astruc.Chloe is also a former bully to the main charecter Marionette also known as Ladybug She is voiced by Selah Victor[1][2] in the English version and Marie Chevalot[2] in the French version. Chloé's father, André Bourgeois, is the mayor of Paris[3] and her mother Audrey Bourgeois the queen of fashion designs.[4] Chloé is extremely spoiled, snobby, and thinks the world revolves around her.[5][3] She often bullies people, especially her classmates, primarily resulting in their sadness and despair becoming a target for Hawk Moth's transforming them into akumatized villains. Like the other students, she has no knowledge of Ladybug's identity, and is a big fan of Ladybug,[5] often trying to take pictures with her; she even has a Ladybug costume that she uses in private to imitate her.[6]

Appearances

In the main series Chloé Bourgeois is the a female supporting character of the Miraculous series. She is portrayed as a French teenage student that lives in Paris. Her father, André Bourgeois,[7][6] is the mayor of Paris and owner of the Le Grand Paris a luxury hotel.[8] Her mother Audrey Bourgeois is the queen of fashion designs who was living in New York, but she is now currently staying in Paris with her family.

In the episode "Ladybug & Cat Noir – Origins, Part 1", it is revealed that she has been classmates with Marinette for 4 consecutive years.[a]

Throughout Season 1, Chloé is one of the leading causes of many of the akumas. Most of which target her in retaliation.

In the episode "Antibug",[9] Chloé is being harassed by something invisible, and Adrien and Marinette are immediately on the case. After talking with the concierge at the Le Grand Paris hotel, where Chloé lives, they discover Chloé had a fight with Sabrina, and had claimed that Sabrina is no longer her friend. Heartbroken over her words, Sabrina was akumatized by Hawk Moth, turning into the "Vanisher", a completely invisible entity. As Ladybug and Cat Noir fight Vanisher, Chloé wants to join in, donning a fake Ladybug costume. However, this only causes the fight to get more difficult and Ladybug forces Chloé to leave. Only when Chloé has left the scene does Ladybug realize Chloé was right all along about where the akuma is, but despite this, she does not apologize to Chloé. Feeling betrayed by her idol, Chloé also becomes influenced by Hawk Moth and becomes the supervillain Antibug, who wants revenge on Ladybug for pushing her aside. Ultimately, Ladybug defeats her and convinces Chloé to make up with Sabrina, which she does.[10]

In "Style Queen" (the first part of "Queen's Battle"). Ladybug is alone without the support of Cat Noir, she visits Master Fu where she meets Plagg. She picks the Bee Miraculous with the power of subjection, and as she wants to give it to Alya, she loses it when Style Queen attacks them. With the follow-up assistance of Plagg, who summons a huge Cataclysm, Ladybug manages to defeat Style Queen and turns everything back to normal. While Marinette is unable to find the lost Bee Miraculous it then eventually lands into the hands of Chloé, along with its kwami, Pollen.[11][6][12]

After the events of the previous episode, when Audrey favors Marinette as an exceptional designer and offers to take her to New York, Chloé feels left out by her mother. She pulls out the Bee Miraculous in front of everyone and transforms into the bee-themed superheroine, "Queen Bee", then makes chaos in Paris to prove that she can be a superhero. After getting scolded by Ladybug and Cat Noir, Chloé feels even more unwanted. Gabriel sees her as the perfect prey and once again transforms into Hawk Moth to evilize Queen Bee into "Queen Wasp", with unlimited power to sting people into paralyzed statues. Fortunately, Ladybug and Cat Noir manage to subdue her and successfully convince Chloé to give the Miraculous back.[13]

In the episode Malediktator, Chloé shows a documentary of herself as Queen Bee to her class, following the experience she had as a self-appointed superheroine, but her classmates mock her and Marinette points out that she is not a real superhero. An enraged Chloé demands that Mr. Bourgeois punish the student body in revenge. When he is unable to comply, Chloé and Audrey threaten to move to New York. Despondent at his inability to make Chloé happy, Mr. Bourgeois gets akumatized into "Malediktator", a dictator invested with absolute power to compel his victims to obey his every command. The school celebrates upon learning that Chloé is leaving Paris. However, Adrien recounts how Chloé was his only friend growing up, making Marinette regret driving her off. Malediktator attacks and successfully compels Cat Noir into acting like an actual cat. Ladybug goes to Master Fu and borrows the Bee Miraculous. She tracks down Chloé, who admits that nobody likes her and that she is having a crisis of self-esteem. Ladybug lends her the Bee Miraculous to transform back into Queen Bee, and together they defeat Malediktator and restore him to normal. Chloé decides not to leave Paris after all, and a party is thrown at school in her honor.

In the "Catalyst" and "Mayura" episodes Chloé as Queen Bee is given the Bee Miraculous again by Ladybug as Ladybug and Cat Noir face one of their most fearsome opponents when Hawk Moth sets a sinister plan into motion by akumatizing his assistant.[14][15] Citrivescence (talk) 16:32, 25 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Assisting Ladybug in the final battle in "Mayura", Queen Bee along with the other heroes are able to fend off Hawk Moth’s forces despite being captured once her parents find out what she is doing. Once freed, Queen Bee even suggests paralyzing Hawk Moth in order to catch him, however he is able to escape, thus leaving the group back at square one.

In "Miraculer" seeing potential use in Chloé’s erratic behavior, Hawk Moth has Mayura stalk her window in order to capture the Bee Miraculous from her. Although Ladybug is able to fend Hawk Moth off, she decides it is too risky for Chloé to continue being Queen Bee. This decision alienates Chloé from Ladybug.

Although bitter about her removal from the team, Chloé continues to call out to Ladybug with her bee signal. Ladybug however, never answers. Meanwhile, Hawk Moth realizes he can use Chloé’s resentment against Ladybug and sabotages her bee signal before confronting her directly in "Heart Hunter" and he is successfully able to manipulate Chloé into letting him akumatize her into Miracle Queen by giving her the stolen Bee Miraculous as well as the Miracle Box. Once in Hawk Moth’s control she reveals the temporary heroes’ identities.

In "Miracle Queen" Ladybug and Chat Noir confront her, and after a brief struggle the duo are able to deakumatize her. Hawk Moth however, escapes and Chloé bitterly announces she no longer loves Ladybug. She intends to leave for New York with the Bee Miraculous, however Ladybug removes the jewel and Chloé flees. When she returns home, her parents reveal they’ve made up, thus removing Chloé’s option to go to New York as well.

With both her position on the team and her chance to leave Paris gone, her bitterness increases and her hatred towards her classmates grows stronger. In "Sole Crusher" to compound these setbacks, Chloé is greeted by her half-sister Zoé, who she dislikes on sight. At first she attempts to manipulate Zoé into doing her bidding, but Zoé instead befriends Marinette, much to Chloé’s ire. After insulting Zoé’s shoes, she is akumatized into Sole Crusher, who targets Chloé to step on her. Chloé attempts to flee, even attempting to offer her peers to Sole Crusher, in order to save herself. However, she is eventually captured.

In "Queen Banana" still upset about Zoé’s arrival, Chloé attempts to hijack a class movie the class worked on, but due to her extensive demands about the script the class surreptitiously works on the project without her, much to her chagrin. Adrien once more reminds her to be nice or he will no longer be her friend. Instead, she ends her friendship with him and Shadow Moth akumatizes her into Queen Banana, who turns the town into bananas. She is once more defeated by Ladybug, however Zoé gives Chloé an anti-akuma charm, falsely claiming is from her mother and says she loves Chloé no matter what.

However, this does little to sway Chloé as she decides to have Adrien pulled from school out of revenge for his ending of their friendship. Unfortunately for her, her video was deleted by Bob Roth before she could show it to Gabriel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8801:3528:6100:91A0:730F:3F75:39DA (talk) 07:19, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Chloé removed from the character page?[edit]

Okay I get her character is literally all over the place, but not including her seems kind of dumb don't you think? 2600:8801:3508:5B00:601F:16E7:24E8:15B5 (talk) 19:35, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Its because Chloë is rude and kinda mad, she doesn't know about her future and i realised that Chloë was good in heroes but not doing okay with her reality. Pixel Ntanjana (talk) 07:36, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete Sentimonster[edit]

What evidence do we have to conclude that Félix is an "incomplete" Sentimonster? Afaik there was nothing in "Representation" that allows us to conclude that "incomplete" Sentimonsters are even a thing, and Colt implanting his Sentimonster son into his wife's womb in a stage play that was full of symbolism is very iffy evidence to me.
