Improvement drive[edit]

This article should be aiming towards the quality level of List of Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterbacks (a featured list), but there are no references whatsoever. As a Brit, I don't have much access to sources regarding the NFL, but someone involved with the Vikings subproject, or even the WikiProject National Football League must have some sources to draw on. Please help get this list to FL status! – PeeJay 00:36, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I'm giving this a go at FLC, but it's really a bit of a "Hail Mary" (see what I did there?) – PeeJay 00:22, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it looks pretty darn good. A lot better than it looked during the off season. Good job. I made charts for most teams, but the history really makes the article alot better. Gilliganfanatic 02:31, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Thanks man. I'm not sure about the content of the History section, as it's really just the bare bones of the history of the Vikings QBs, but hopefully it's enough at this stage to get promoted! – PeeJay 07:52, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think we should add the post-season starts? I have added them on a few other team pages. I also have a "Top 5 Stats" chart for a few teams as well. Check the Steelers and Cardinals QB page to see what it looks like with those added on. Gilliganfanatic 17:05, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
A table of post-season starts would probably be a good idea. I was also thinking that a stats table including passing and rushing stats for each starting QB would be a good addition, but a problem with this would be that the table would include stats from when the players didn't start as well as when they did. – PeeJay 17:14, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good point about the stats, it would be even harder for older games to see if the stats were from a game they started or not. I'll go ahead and start a post-season chart. On most of the ones I have made I have it just by number of games. The Cleveland Browns page lists it a better way than just the number. They list it by number of wins and losses in the post season. I will use that format. Gilliganfanatic 17:41, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
I just finished adding them. I wasn't really sure how you did the references on regular season chart and I didn't want to mess it up by doing it differently in the post-season. All the info I got was from profootball reference. For each post season game it lists the starting lineup. Also I wasn't sure if I needed to have a hyperlink to each season again since we already have it in the regular season. Gilliganfanatic 18:17, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
