Gabrielle Wolohojian removed[edit]

As said in this edit [1], there are 2 problems with the inclusion of Gabrielle Wolohojian. The first one is at Talk:Gabrielle Wolohojian#COI edit request, someone who has identified as the subject has objected to categorisation as an LGBT judge. While they did not explicitly name this list, it's quite likely objection to categorisation would also mean objection to being on this list. Further although they have not gone through the process to confirm their identity, this leads us to our second problem. Even without confirmation, we can check if we're actually following BLP properly and I don't see how we are. This source [2] only mention of Gabrielle Wolohojian is that she is the partner of Healey. This seems very far from the WP:BLPCAT requirement of 'sexual orientation should not be used unless the subject has publicly self-identified with the belief (or lack of such) or orientation in question, and the subject's beliefs or sexual orientation are relevant to their public life or notability, according to reliable published sources' (for categories and as explained later for lists). A source saying Wolohojian had at the time a female partner seems very far from saying she identifies as LGBT, and considering how brief the mention I don't think you could say it establishes any relevance to her public life or notability either. The source may very well establish all that for Healey, but that's irrelevant to Wolohojian. It's perfectly possible that both apply to Healey but not Wolohojian even if they were in a same-sex relationship. Nil Einne (talk) 21:08, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
