Err, BCMyles, how attached are you to the all caps for subfamilies - I've not seen it used elsewhere on wikipedia though haven't checked any rules prohibiting caps use as such....Casliber (talk · contribs) 22:12, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I suppose there is this at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters#Do_not_use_for_emphasis - problem is, one doesn't want to italicise ranks for emphasis which normally would not be italicized...hmmmm. Casliber (talk · contribs) 22:14, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is there an assumption of American readers?[edit]

This table has (row 9) "West coast". Another row has "Pacific north west". If I were reading this in South-East Asia, say, or West Africa, it might not be obvious which coast the west coast is the coast of, and the Pacific north west might mean the east of Siberia and of the Korean peninsula.
