Mars Attacks[edit]

The reference to Void's "similarity" to the Aliens in mars attacks has been removed. It is wholly irrelevant for a multitude of reasons, such as Void being more "Pinhead" inspired (Hellraiser, Miura an admitted fan), Berserk predating Burton's film, and in general very limited likeness sans an exposed cranium and or brain...I'd almost take it as a joke inserted and not anything serious, and as such was removed.

It should be noted however that while Void predates Tim Burton's film of Mars Attacks, it does not predates the card game and comics that serve as the source material for that game.

Item list[edit]

Anybody know how to make the secondary characters appear in the ToC like the primary ones do? I'm racking my brain trying to remember how. If I do, I do, but looking for an assist if I can't. TotalTommyTerror 15:07, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I figured it out, but now there's question marks next to each of the romanji pronunciations for the names? Help? TotalTommyTerror 16:25, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, nevermind. Looks like they were there in previous versions? Part of the romanji code in wiki maybe? TotalTommyTerror 16:26, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A short list[edit]

There are three characters in Berzerk. There is the player, the robots, and Evil Otto. Shouldn't this article start off by telling people a little bit about Berserk? I understand that it's not the arcade game, it must be a cartoon series, but I can't tell from the index page on its own. Zombiflava 16:40, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. --Darkbane 13:13, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Portraits[edit]

I'm curious about the absence of fair-use portraits for character identification. There won't be any problem with me adding such, right? --Darkbane talk 17:39, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There shouldn't be. Just make sure to include all the relevant fair use rationale and source information. (Ideally, source to the manga chapter.) --tjstrf talk 17:45, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not a problem. I always include very detailed rationales. Something that's missing in 95% of the manga/anime related images on Wikipedia, really :/ --Darkbane talk 17:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Added a couple. Let me know if you think there's any problem with these fair use rationales, before I add a whole bunch more. --Darkbane talk 23:53, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nihongo[edit]

Any objections to moving the nihongo templates from the section titles to the first sentence in each section? It'll clean up the TOC significantly. --Darkbane talk 23:52, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Zodd[edit]

I'm not sure if anyone noticed this, but in the manga Zodd has his left horn cut off, not his right. I tried to change this, but it reverted. -anonymous

Has the manga been mirrored (i.e. adapted for left to right reading) for western adaptations? That'd explain the left / right "controversy" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.33.9.155 (talk) 17:43, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The Dark Horse manga is not mirrored. It reads right to left. Billebrooks (talk) 07:02, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Casca[edit]

I think Gut's inner beast meant to eat Casca, or rape then eat her. Also, in the last sentence of that section, who is "he"? -anonymous —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.142.110.130 (talk) 01:53, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Peekaf/Pirkaf[edit]

There seems to be some controversy regarding which of these is the correct translation for the name of the legendary boy who lived with the elves. According to the official Dark Horse manga, the translation is Peekaf. Pirkaf is used in some internet translations. I think the Dark Horse translation should be preferred over all unofficial translations when it is available (only volumes 1-20 have been released so far). In the case of names, only a direct quote from Miura should override it. Billebrooks (talk) 04:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who is that child?[edit]

The party met with a child while they were residing beside the ocean, after they escaped from the forest. was that boy, the child of casca and gatts? I mean He resembled so much like casca and gatts. But didnt griffith use the body of their child to be reincarneted within? im at a loss here. what do you think ? --Fotte (talk) 11:10, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed "rapier sword" to read "sabre"[edit]

Probably kinda nitpicky, but it's my first wiki edit so I figured I'd start small and that caught my eye. I think Sabre better describes Griffith's weapon of choice, as though it does have a basket hilt the blade is curved and designed for slashing rather than thrusting. Against the Merge of Guts and Griffith[edit]

Given the history of wikipedia main character in notable anime have there own article therefore Guts and Griffith the two main characters in Berserk warrent their own articles. Both these characters are very 3-dimensional and need to the seperated from less notable characters. 63.76.234.250 (talk) 16:50, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Griffith's page was butchered[edit]

I can understand merging Guts and Griffith's pages into this, but, I'm at a loss over something. Guts' full page (complete with image and infobox) were transferred over just fine, but Griffith wasn't treated the same? Why not? If it worked so well with Guts, Griffith deserved the same quality of information; since the both of them are the two main characters of the series. What went on there behind that decision? And the original Griffith page is already gone, so it can't be fixed, save for just rewriting it entirely. --71.210.197.171 (talk) 17:59, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Guess no one even cares either. Nice job there, wikipedia. Is it any wonder why everyone hates you?--174.28.69.76 (talk) 19:59, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
