Adding YouGov Well/Badly polls?[edit]

The older ones are included but the most recent ones are not. Is this deliberate or should they be added? Mattftom (talk) 10:52, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Graphs for Boris Johnson and Nicola Sturgeon[edit]

I was wondering why there were no graphs for Boris Johnson and Nicola Sturgeon? The graphs are very handy in looking at the results in a snapshot, so it would be good for the PM and First Minister to have graphs.

I'm not quite sure how this Wikipedia editing works, so sorry if I've put this in the wrong area. 2A02:C7F:BC2C:1A00:9DF9:BC58:45FA:4712 (talk) 15:05, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My apologise, I had originally posted the graphs for the other leaders, I never got round to doing Boris Johnson or Nicola Sturgeon as they have a lot of data points to adjust. EnglishPoliticalPerson (talk) 23:35, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Redfield and/& Wilton[edit]

We use both "Redfield and Wilton" and "Redfield & Wilton" in the tables. And in Opinion polling for the next United Kingdom general election "Redfield & Wilton Strategies". I propose we use just "Redfield & Wilton" in both articles - mostly because it is the shortest for table width. Looks better (more consistent) and makes pasting in a new entry everywhere a bit easier. Any objection? Rwendland (talk) 15:34, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. Jonjonjohny (talk) 17:26, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaning This Up[edit]

I think this article needs a good clean up, but I don't know how it should be done. I think preferred PM polling is really important, even more important than general approval ratings and certainly more than approval ratings of former leaders, yet it's stuck low on the list. I also think some of the hypothetical polling isn't very useful, especially when questions are asked by only one pollster so there can be no aggregate figure. Plus, of course, there is so much polling that it has been difficult to keep pace with all the data as they come in. I'd be curious to hear how people think it can be improved, but these are my issues. Thanks! VelvetCommuter (talk) 17:25, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

FYI Opinium respondents oddity[edit]

Opinium 27–28 Jan 2022 has some oddity in its respondent numbers, which I wonder if anyone understands and can explain. This also applies to 12–14 Jan 2022, so I think this is a consistent oddity. 27–28 Jan says "2008 UK Adults" on spreadsheet front page tab, but on full "which party would you vote" tab (V003) says "all eligible to vote: 1647". So it looks like 18% of their "UK Adults" are not eligible to vote - weird! Then on the Boris & Keir approval rating tabs (V006 series) it uses the full 2008 - so including the 18% not able to vote in the approval assessment. I hope someone can explain to me how this makes good sense? Rwendland (talk) 15:16, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Large backlog[edit]

Looking at the tables we seem to be missing a large amount of data and new polls aren't being posted here frequently enough. Surely needs to be a some effort to amend this given its been months since first flagged up. EnglishPoliticalPerson (talk) 22:55, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
