Name?[edit]

The entry says "Lashkar Gah" but the page name is Lashkargah. Should we rename the page?--71.141.224.170 00:08, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have most commonly seen it as "Lashkar Gah" (in the country). It should have space. Nihaody (talk) 02:38, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The name spelling officially recognized by International Security Assistance Forces is Lashkar Gah.--Talkingmalamute (talk) 09:49, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please STOP deleting the information on the ETHNOGRAPHY of the city. Whoever keeps doing this, should realize that he/she cannot change the facts on the ground by vandalizing the information on the Wiki. Further, The web site Afghanistan Information Management ([1]) is run and managed by the ethnic Pashtuns. As such, its is the least reliable source for ethnic information on Afghanistan. Please stop using that web site to justify misinformation placed here in the Wiki. Izady (talk) 21:14, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Izady, you have not given a good reason for deleting information that are backed by a valid source. If you think AIMS is run and managed by Pashtuns and it is not a valid source, than you better find an updated alternative. Otherwise, you should not be deleting sourced content. For your information, AIMS is used widely in wikipedia as a valid source. (Ketabtoon (talk) 04:12, 25 July 2009 (UTC))[reply]

2021 Battle of Lashkar Gah[edit]

The Taliban are besieging Lashkar Gah and I think they are turning this attack into a showpiece of their power. Where's the article for this? They seem to be putting a lot of momentum into taking this city to demonstrate that they can hold on to not just rural territory but towns and cities, so why isn't there an article on this?
