Comment[edit]

Though this wiki article does reference an organization (and therefore, by the vary nature of the article's existence, promotes it), it references a school for twice exceptional children. Bridges Academy is similarly listed in Wikipedia. These two school form a handful of organizations in the United States dedicated to a known an emerging pedagogic need. Concepts of twice exceptionality have been discussed for over 25 years. The Lang School is a non-profit and a school for K-8. This article should be considered, if anything, a public announcement rather than promotional spam. Kallocain (talk) 14:39, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The school has major historical significance as the first of its kind in the entire country, if not the world. No other school is devoted to 2e elementary education.Cacampora (talk) 16:39, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is true. The Lang School has definitive historical significance. Other 2e schools exist, but as far as I know, not at the elementary level. Without doubt, The Lang School is the first school exclusively dedicated to twice exceptionality to open doors in New York, one of the countries major metropolitan areas.
