Name[edit]

The city's name is Hims, not Homs. All the major scholarly sources list it at Hims. We've had this discussion at Hims talk page, why don't you take a look there! Yazan (talk) 08:21, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I found quite the reverse. The majority of scholarly works used Homs, except for the military district Jund Hims. --Bejnar (talk) 22:13, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
