This article is about a specific operation, not the whole conflict. Is there any proof that the Syrian mercenaries have participated in this operation? I'd like to see it if there is. Turkey's "support" is also about the conflict as a whole, nothing about this specific operation. — CuriousGolden (talk·contrib) 16:26, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I understand, but since the mercenaries and Turkish officers are de facto part of the Azerbaijani army, how can you separate them for specific battle? Sincerely, Գարիկ Ավագյան (talk) 16:34, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There hasn't been any reliable proof about "Turkish officers" anyway, so not even going to talk about that. But it's easy to know by media reports. For example, Syrian mercenaries have been claimed to be participating in the Khojavend/Martuni direction by media, so it can be added there. But nothing about Lachin. We don't add every single unit/army to every single operation because they've participated in the overall conflict. — CuriousGolden (talk·contrib) 17:08, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is ridiculous. The Western sources haven't specified where these so-called "Syrians" are fighting at. They might be up in Aghdara, or Talysh as far I'm concerned. Գարիկ Ավագյան's assumptions won't be added to here. About the so-called "Turkish officers", this is not the Armenian Wikipedia, we're not pushing state agenda here. --► Sincerely: SolaVirum 17:22, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it is about state agenda here. How do we know that Armenia has participated in this offensive in that case? Maybe it is just Artsakh forces. --ԱշոտՏՆՂ (talk) 16:55, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
