The pronoun He is impossible here. Its antecedent is Alberto. He cannot be a clone of Virginia, because He is a man! Is this a machine translation? Some bilingual who knows the story should revise this article & write English. I am confident that the "He" part should go more like "He, however, despises Vanessa for her rudeness and impudence."
