Notability?[edit]

Aside from a few drama roles, there's not much that makes Rise notable outside of Ladies' Code. Same thing applies to the EunB article. Wikipedia != generasia ハローリンク-Hello Link- 04:03, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Hello Link She definitely has much more notability than you think because she has participated in Miss Korea 2009, she signed with KeyEast entertainment in the past before she was in Ladies' Code, i don't think the Ladies' Code article will be enough to cover her past works since it's more about the group than the individual. She had already made a name for herself before ladies' code. So she's more participated more than aside from a few drama roles. I think there will be enough notability if this article is done well. Thanks --Deoma12(Talk) 05:15, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By your logic then both Ashley and Sojung should have their own articles too. Why are those two left without theirs? ハローリンク-Hello Link- 16:11, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I will make an assumption that no one on the english side of things knew about the group before the accident. If there is enough outside of Ladies' Code, then their articles should be created. --Super Goku V (talk) 05:08, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Hello Link As for Ashley and Sojung they were not that well-known as compared to Ri-se before their debut in Ladies' Code. As i mentioned before, Ri-se had previously signed with another label before joining ladies code and was active as a artiste and did more than just a few drama roles as you mentioned. So she definitely has more notability than Ashley and Sojung. @Super Goku V Yes, if they have enough coverage before their debut or in the future their articles would definitely be created but for now there isn't much notability of them before their debut in Ladies' Code.--Deoma12(Talk) 14:34, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
My comment was an answer to Hello Link more than anything else, though you are correct. Even on the Korean side of things it looked to be nothing there. --Super Goku V (talk) 07:15, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Time issue on death.[edit]

This might be more of a question on how dates and time is formatted in Korean and how we translate that to English, but I do have a question. According to a Google Translation of the Korean Wikipedia article on Rise, it appears to mention that five days had passed. ("Then 05 days later the Byzantines surgery after accident September 7, 2014 10:10 ...") Though this does not seem to be correct, if it is correct, then how should the article be formatted? --Super Goku V (talk) 05:46, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that it counts as "3rd (1st day after the accident) 4th (2nd date) 5th (3rd day) 6th (4th day) 7th (5th day, today)". Also, I'm fixing kowiki article since it has grammar problems and is uncited. Revicomplaint? 05:53, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for confirming my thoughts. In addition, thank you for improving the Kowiki article. I was hoping to find something to help this article, but it looks like I came up empty for the moment. --Super Goku V (talk) 19:08, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The picture is not Ri-se Kwon[edit]

Right now (March 17th 2017; 16:50 UTC) the picture shown on the English and Korean Wiki is not Kwon Ri-se but So-jung Lee. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rice Finch (talkcontribs) 17:06, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I dont know what are you looking at, but the picture in infobox on this page is definitely correct. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:09, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Education?[edit]

In Rise's The Star profile, it says she attended Fukushima Chōsen Elementary/Middle School, Kent Foreign High School, and Seikei University. In this Wikipedia page, it says she also attended Tokyo Korean School and the source of that is Rise's Miss Korea page. I found an archived version of it, and her profile on there doesn't list Tokyo Korean School, but it does list Idyllwild Arts Academy. Is there any other possible source of her schooling?
