Land of Confusion[edit]

2012 Census only has villages called 'Kumaka' in Region 1 (there's four numbered villages that are probably all derived from one) and Region 10. This one claims to be in Region 6, but I think that might have been a good guess by the page creator, based on looking at a map. It doesn't help that their archived links are also broken. This website also lists a Kumaka of Region 10, but I'm not sure about it's reliability.

Using GMaps, a search for "Kumaka, Guyana" takes me directly to the Region 1 Kumaka, but I easily enough found a second labeled marker for a Kumaka further down... but it looks like it's in Region 9, but not far from Region 6.

Plenty of news hits come up about the Kumaka in Region 1 (also called the 'North West'). That makes it a lot more tedious to find anything about this 'lesser-known' Kumaka.

There's too many conflicting sources, also veering into OR (interpreting maps which are not likely to be accurate due to remoteness). I don't believe this article should be deleted, but I don't think articles should assert facts that are highly questionable. Hopefully this will be sorted out in the near future (higher quality GPS readings for public use, 2022 census, etc) but I don't know what to do about this until then.
