Weird bit[edit]

"While incarcerated, he met a Christian woman, who was also known as Yūko Kurusu. She became his sister-in-law, after which he changed his name to Kiyotaka Fujiwara."

Maybe I'm just not reading this right, but I can't make sense of what this is saying. Why/how did she become his sister in law and why would that prompt him to change his name? What does this have to do with him being distrustful of his fellow inmates? 82.151.76.17 (talk) 21:46, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
