Detroit Rock City[edit]

What is Simmons saying at the beginning of Detroit Rock City?--209.243.31.233 02:32, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A: The Mighty Mighty Bosstones had been invited to play on the album, and decided to do DRC. Some consider that song as the epitome of a Kiss song. With that in mind, Gene didn't want that one done by a Ska band. He had something more Metallica in mind. Not only did the Bosstones not pass on the song, they included an answering machine message from Gene at the beginning. They then proceeded to do a great cover of the song. 67.190.220.7 (talk) 15:21, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

timeline[edit]

It states that the album was released to coincide with Kiss' 20th anniversary. Well, there is a problem with it....the album was released in 1994 and KISS was formed in 1973. So it's really 21 years, not 20. Norum 14:49, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
