Undergarments editing

The only material imported from the Kilt article which was heavily edited (as contrasted with expanded) was the section on underwear. In the original article, this occupied between 20 and 25 percent of the entire article. In the imported material, it was almost 2/3 of the total. Even after the additional material on other more substantive matters regarding kilt accessories was added, the amount of space devoted to what is basically a trivial discussion (or even largely unverifiable "private research") was excessive to the point where it could fairly be said to not conform to NPOV policy.

The photo which used to "adorn" that section belongs on the Uncyclopedia.

Footwear

...on another subject.....footware..

I am the happy owner of my first (and probably only)kilt outfit having found a tenuous link to the Cambell Clan.. :0). Having spent more than i dare declare to my wife after visiting Kinloch Anderson in Edinborough...!!! anyway i digress....my question, if someone could assist is what footware of today could/should you ware with the kilt when country walking...footpaths etc.

Well, it probably is the wrong place to ask questions. However, your question did point up the fact that the "Footwear" section is not quite adequate. Meanwhile, to respond to your question, have a look at the photo at the top of the page and note his footwear. I'd probably not go with the full hair sporran unless you want your wife to start serioously making inquiries into cost, though. JFPerry 13:56, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
