Parish priest[edit]

The information about Father Larkin is incorrect, as the IP stated correctly. But the correction by Laurel Lodged is even more wrong than the former outdated info. Laurel, if you do not know what you are doing, please, do not do it. The Banner talk 19:43, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the safest course of action is to delete all unencyclopedic and unsourced claims. Laurel Lodged (talk) 19:39, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think it would be a good idea to delete everything church related out of this article. The Banner talk 19:56, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But how else are we to prove that we know what we are doing? We should not do it. Laurel Lodged (talk) 20:13, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think the Catholic Church has proven its notability over the years. The Banner talk 20:29, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But what of Father Larkin? Can we prove that he even existed, let alone that he was notable? If not, perhaps the safest course of action is to delete him and his ilk an unencyclopedic and unsourced claim. Laurel Lodged (talk) 20:36, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Mwah, I know him personally. But independent proof is here. The list of parish priest is off course sourced... The Banner talk 21:11, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Demerger?[edit]

It still looks weird to me that a fully sourced article (Kilmurry Ibrickane (Roman Catholic parish)) was sacrificed to give this article some desperate needed content. I suggest to demerge that article and create proper articles about the civil parish and the RC parish. The Banner talk 20:36, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You're still whinging about this? Get over it. Nothing has been "sacrificed"; all info from both traditions is present. If you have more info, feel free to add it to the relevant sub-section. Laurel Lodged (talk) 12:33, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have more info about the RC parish but I will only add that to a relevant article, not to an article only in existence because other people did not like it or had not a clue what they were talking about. The Banner talk 19:31, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
