I have removed obvious partisan attacks and the details of alleged ethical violations. I further question the inclusion of many of the details of Hodges' career, especially references to awards and commendations he has received from local periodicals and legal organizations. Even if these commendations were well sourced, I would question their inclusion on the grounds that they seem to border on self-promotion (see WP:NOTSOAPBOX). Regarding the inclusion or exclusion of Hodges' alleged ethical violations, I advise we keep them out of this article. Not only do they overwhelm the article, but it looks like all the charges have been dismissed. On the Georgia State Ethics Commission website [1], typing "Hodges" into the "Respondent Last Name" search field yields links to 6 commission orders involving Hodges, all of which have been dismissed. Regarding the ethical violations, it appears it has again come up in recent news and I think there should be at least some mention of it. If nothing else, the facts of what has happened and what is happening. The EFF has asked an appeals court to re-examine the case. [2]. To clarify which ethics violation I'm speaking of, the EFF website states "A local prosecutor in Dougherty County, Ken Hodges, conspired with the hospital and used a sham grand jury subpoena to obtain Mr. Rehberg's personal email communications. The prosecutor then provided that information to private investigators for the hospital and indicted Mr. Rehberg for a burglary and assault that never actually occurred." --206.169.214.146 (talk) 16:27, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

I wonder if the middle section—those paragraphs detailing Hodges' professional commendations—can be omitted for lack of clear citations online.
