1978-1980[edit]

The Kdam Erovizyon (="Pre-Eurovision") Israeli national final to determine its entry to the Eurovision Song Contest did not start before 1981. The 1980 show was still an edition of Festival Ha-Zemer Ve-ha-Pizmon (="The song and chant Festival"), which wasn't directly related to the ESC, although in 1978-1980 the winner in that festival was sent (or was intended to be sent) to the ESC as the Israeli entry. drork 22:49, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs to be rewritten[edit]

I get the feeling that someone used an online translator to make the majority of this page. It's really awful... Here's one example: throughout the article there are random mentions of "blood" which make no sense - in hebrew the word blood is "dam", only one letter off from "Kdam". This whole page should be redone if anyone is interested in taking the time. Otherwise I would simply delete the English version because as it stands it is counter-producive.174.112.83.21 (talk) 03:42, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that - i got rid of the offending text (which i translated), and have put it all into a word document to which i am tirelessly manually translating. Should be up in a couple of days.--Coin945 (talk) 17:20, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
