Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because the alleged copyvios are contained entirely within quotes in this article w/respect to text. If you look at the duplication detector results for this page, [1] it is clear that the USA Today quote that is attributed in the article to Rita Rubin is the biggest potential copyvio issue (all others are either part of a story title or only at most 6 words long. This, to me, seems to be entirely in line with WP:NFCCP, which states that "Articles and other Wikipedia pages may, in accordance with the guideline, use brief verbatim textual excerpts from copyrighted media, properly attributed or cited to its original source or author (as described by the citation guideline), and specifically indicated as direct quotations via quotation marks, <blockquote>, or a similar method." In addition, the copyvios report for this page indicates there is only a 13% violation, which, although an imperfect indicator of copyvios, seems to suggest there probably is not a copyvio problem here, or at least not one that necessitates speedy deletion of this page. Regarding Cap Times reference[edit]

Reddogsix recently removed a source from the lead claiming it did not support the statement attributed to it. The statement in question is "As of 2013, she was the owner of "the Studio", a yoga studio in Madison, Wisconsin." In fact, the source [2] does support this statement: It says that "On Friday, Nov. 8, Studio owner Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau leads couples yoga with her husband Scott..." We learn about the Studio earlier in the same article, which says, among other things, "The Studio, located in Machinery Row since 2011, takes yoga outside during the summer..." So I think that everything in the statement in the lead is verifiable in the source cited, which is why I restored the source. Everymorning (talk) 15:37, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
