I have re-added the content dealing with the trailer views. It appears to be well sourced. Information on records broken by films and songs are regularly part of article content, and indeed, may be an important reason the article meets WP:GNG. TimothyJosephWood 14:18, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

Creating a separate section titled "Record" for a teaser is promotional and fan stuff. As per WP:TRAILER, adding details about standard marketing tools like teasers and trailers are not entertained. And not everything is a record, even if the entertainment media cover it. Another reason: As I personally know about the subject, the content in the sources has mistake. The teaser got only 3.80 lakh "verified" views (which is visible in YouTube) in 24 hours, but received 5.10 lakh "real-time" views (only visible to uploader). The mistake in the sources are, they comparing film's "real-time" view record with the previous record holding films "verified" views. ie, Pulimurugan which got 4.28 lakh "verified" views in 24 hours. Arbitrary records

In this edit I removed (bloated) referenced content that stated the film had a record opening in Kerala. Why do we care? If this were a US film, would it be noteworthy to point out that a certain action film had a record gross in Ohio? Or if it were a UK film, would an encyclopedia article care that it was the highest attended film in Scotland? Probably not, especially if the film had no specific ties to Ohio or Scotland. What's the difference? Seems like an arbitrary record that media groups love to use to fluff up film promotion. Everything can be a record if you set the goalposts the right way. "Highest grossing film to premiere on a Tuesday starring a guy over 40." C'mon. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:03, 8 July 2016 (UTC)

"Feminists scream"

In this edit I removed critical response content attributed to The News Minute. 1) I've never heard of The News Minute. We only care what reliable mainstream sources have to say about films. Its utility as a reference needs to be established first. 2) The prose contained numerous grammatical errors, and portions that sounded like quotations were not presented as quotations. 3) The tone of the content was not appropriate for an encyclopedia. Starting off a section about accusations of misogyny with "Feminists scream the movie to be misogynist" is not well-conceived, and is inherently sexist itself, what with the suggestion that feminists "scream", because what, women are stereotypical screamers and what do men do? Its your Personal opinion or projection, nobody said women are stereotypical screamers. Plus hollering or screaming isn't sexist, if you try to categorize every silly aspects and expressions such as, life would be hard. If it helps men could also scream or better everyone can scream. It is not about women or men. Writing that "X scream about the topic Y" is not an appropriate tone for an encyclopedia. And neither Wikipedia allow accusations or support to one side of an existing discussion. Everything should be written in a neutral point of view.
