Doesn't Wikipedia have a policy against writing articles about yourself? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.67.99.175 (talk) 15:42, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's funny that anyone would think I'd post such an obviously distorted entry about myself. There's very little neutrality to this entry. For instance, I've posted well over 100,000 words at my main blog. A handful of those words related to Ms. Palin-- and those were off topic asides. The theme of that blog is the literary scene. Why feel the need, then, to add that to my entry, other than an attempt to discredit me? Note, please, people, that attacks on, or distortions about, myself and the ULA, are almost done anonymously. The distortions, though, are because our ideas are relevant. They truly threaten these individuals, and the complacency of their scene. -Karl Wenclas 3/22/2011 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karlwenclas (talkcontribs) 17:07, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, "King" puts up grandiose claims about himself that only he would care about. *yawn* —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jookyjo (talkcontribs) 11:52, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's sad that someone would come onto this entry anonymously for the sole purpose of making personal attacks. This, in response to revelations of real corruption among the literary mainstream at my blog and on the ULA's site. Does any action more prove the ULA case?

Wenclas, the assumption that everyone who objects to your flagrant dishonesty and endless self-promotion with so little bonafide writing attached to it must be a literary insider is one of the weakest aspects of your work. I have no quarrel with your exposure of corruption - only your pointless and petty bullying. But go on: delete anything you object to. That'll show your support for free expression. The changes to your profile aren't "personal attacks" - they're a more balanced portrait of your activities than you yourself are capable of making.

Flagrant postings and re-postings of libellous material such as "Quilty10" is responsible for on this entry are violations of Wiki's policy on living figures. Not only does he post defamatory material about a living person, he disguises his postings as "Updating history" and "External Links." This is not the place for a flame war, and I would hope any further violations by Quilty10 would be handled by the admin. Chip 17:08, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV template without ongoing discussion per Template:POV instructions[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 18:57, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
