Prose Suggestions[edit]

Please note that all of these are suggestions, and can be implemented or ignored at your discretion.

  • Theodor (who had been crowned emperor under the name Peter) suggest deleting the content in parentheses, as it is [IMO] to far in depth for the lede. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 01:09, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • The date of his release is not known.[10] He was back in his homeland when a boyar, Ivanko, murdered Asen in Tarnovo in 1196. suggest:
The date of his release is not known, however he is known to have been back in his homeland by the time the boyar Ivanko murdered Asen in Tarnovo, in 1196.
  • Innocent eagerly entered into correspondence with Kaloyan because the reunification of the Christian denominations under his authority was one of his principal objectives suggest:
Innocent eagerly entered into correspondence with Kaloyan, hoping to reunify the Bulgarians to the Catholic Church, as reunification with different denominations one of his principal objectives.
  • aloyan's seal is depicted on the reverse of the Bulgarian 2 levs banknote, issued in 1999 and 2005 suggest creating a "Legacy" heading and moving this to it.
Thank you for your review and suggestion. My comments are the following:
  • I prefer the present version, because Theodor is better known as Peter (but before his coronation he could not be named as such).
  • Modified.
  • I prefer the present version, because it clarifies that the Pope wanted to expand his authority.
  • I preferred to deleted the sentence, because it is trivia.
