Lead Paragraph syntax reversion[edit]

Hi @Skyerise, I noticed you had reverted my edit in the lead paragraph. With the exception of the first line, the lead paragraph was essentially one long sentence. I broke this up to improve its readability and syntax, and think that this change should be re-added. What was your reasoning for the reversion?

@Starlights99: Sorry, I saw the word 'prominent' and couldn't find a rocky outcropping anywhere! Skyerise (talk) 19:53, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Skyerise, I felt the wording was fine but do understand the point. Instead of "This is especially prominent in the regions of..." we can re-phrase it to "The festival is especially popular in the regions of...". What do you think?

Sure. I think 'prominent' may be the most overused word on English Wikipedia! Skyerise (talk) 20:18, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Legend section removal / sources[edit]

Hi everyone.

I have been looking to clean up this article and noticed that the legend section is written quiet poorly. There are issues with the sentence structure and phrasing. The section also has no sources at all. Would anyone like to help me in the search for some reliable sources? If not I suggest it be removed.

Thanks,

Perhaps in the article Sumbha and Nisumbha? Skyerise (talk) 20:38, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Skyerise Hi - I'm not sure this is the right approach. The bulk of the legend paragraph is about Kali and Shiva, and Kali's loss of control. References 2, 3, 4 & 5 in the Sumbha and Nisumbah article don't talk about this and I am struggling to access references 1 & 6. I cannot find a published/reliable source to use. Have you managed to find anything?
